Armed with little more than determination, integrity, and a strong back, Reese started out on his own, personally picking rock from the land, cutting it by hand, packaging it, and shipping it to stone distributors across the region.

From day one, J Bar Stone was more than just a business—it was a legacy in the making. Reese, a devoted family man, was driven by a deep desire to create something his family could be proud of. He believed in honest work, ethical sourcing, and delivering only the highest-quality natural stone. That commitment still runs through every layer of our operation today.
